Gas fired VAV Carrier rooftops as a primary source of heat?

YES! Under way is a 45,000 sq. ft. project to replace two old Trane rooftop V.A.V. units with morning warm-up only, with Carrier V.A.V. gas heating units as primary heat source. The units will feature modulating gas trains with stainless steel heat exchangers. The units will have on board Comfort Link Controls and will be integrated with a Carrier Comfort Network zoning system. Energy management including a load shed program will be incorporated. Significant energy savings are expected. A review of this project will be coming mid summer.
